TERMS & CONDITIONS
- 1. For the purpose of this agreement, the CUSTOMER shall make use of the services of Sidecar Safaris referred to as the BUSINESS
- 2. All bookings, amendments and cancellations will only be accepted in writing
- 3. Payment Policy: Full payment of tour fees are required 72 hrs prior to the commencement of the tour
- 4. Cancellation Policy: If a confirmed booking is cancelled, cancellation fees will be levied as follows:
- a) More than 72 hrs prior to commencement of the tour
- b) Between 72 hrs and 24 hrs prior to commencement of the tour 50%
- c) Less than 24 hours prior to commencement of tour or fail to arrive 100%
- 5. During the tour period, the sidecar may not be driven by any person other than the licenced customer
- 6. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden
- 7. The customer will follow and keep the tour guide/leader within sight at all times
- 8. A replacement sidecar will be provided for any mechanical breakdown only. Should any other problem occur through negligence (keys lost, flat/damaged battery due to lights being left on) then a call out fee R500 will be charged
- 9. The customer shall ensure that the sidecar is securely parked and in-gear while unattended
- 10. Under no circumstances will the business release any sidecar from the depot unless an indemnity form has been completed and signed by the customer and passenger
- 11. The customer must undergo an orientation lesson on a sidecar prior to the tour commencement. The business reserves the right to cancel the booking and refund any monies paid (less administration fee of R250) should the customers, competent be doubtful
- 12. The customer shall be at least 25 years old and be in possession of a Code ‘A’ Motorbike Drivers’ Licence for at least 2 years. International visitors must present either a valid Licence, issued by their Country, or an International Licence
- 13. The business shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, personal injury, cancellation or curtailment of any tour however caused. The business shall also not be liable for any refund, either partial, or total, of any tour money paid. The business recommends that the customer purchase appropriate insurance cover to protect themselves from such eventualities
- 14. In the case of inclement weather on the day of the tour, the customer may elect to (1) accept a full refund, or: (2) elect to take up the booking at a later agreed upon date, or (3) elect to continue with the tour. Should the customer chose option (3) no weather related refund will be given once the tour commences
